Favorite designer collections selected for their quality and originality. In addition, we offer our Victoire in-house collection, featuring timeless basics crafted primarily from Italian fabrics and colorful capsule collections featuring exclusive prints and embroidery.

ASSEMBLE

Playing with contrasts, designers, prints, colors, and embroidery. Victoire silhouettes stand out for their chic allure and a touch of whimsy. We love creating layered looks that are both highly personal and expressive.

share

Victoire is a story of family and transmission that has cultivated a certain idea of high-end, joyful and non-conformist fashion for over 60 years.
What drives us? Creativity, a "good" taste for risk and color, rigor and singularity rather than quantity and uniformity. This slightly impertinent Parisian chic worn by a lineage of avant-garde and intrepid women. A beautiful story of chic and joyful fashion.

advise

Listen with kindness, advise with honesty. We know our customers and we know what works for them.

A family story spanning 6 decades

1962

Catherine Chaillet creates Victoire, the first Parisian “concept store”.
" In 1962, I first entered Lalonde's shop, a fabric merchant on Place des Victoires. He asked me to transform his shop, I accepted in exchange for total carte blanche, and Victoire was born! " Catherine had no strategy, but instinct and taste to spare. The shop was atypical: on one hand, basics in perfect materials and cuts; on the other, adventures like unpredictable little things. At the time, most of the big names in the press were in the neighborhood, and journalists passed by as neighbors. Success came with an effervescent joie de vivre and contagious enthusiasm.

1970-80

Catherine Chaillet creates Victoire, the first Parisian “concept store”.
Victoire quickly became a reference for customers and for the designers themselves who dreamed of the Place des Victoires. In 1968, Antoine Riboud bought the boutique and Françoise Chassagnac became our artistic director. Regarding Françoise, Inès de la Fressange said: " She is one of those people who helped fashion to be fashion. " At the time, with the emancipation of women, the notion of fashion began to be replaced by the notion of style. People came to Victoire for its wide selection of sportswear and dressy pieces, the perfect balance between fashion and chic, but also to learn how to find their own style, under the expert and caring eye of Françoise, of course!

Montana, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Alaïa, Yohji Yamamoto, Mugler, Tarlazzi, Jil Sander, Donna Karan, Moschino, Prada, Gucci… “The era of designers.” It’s the 80s and Françoise dares to choose avant-garde clothes, prioritizing creativity and trends. At Victoire, women discover genius pieces, the art of “mix and match” and Italy!

1990

In the 1990s, Gilles Riboud continued the adventure by opening the first men's boutique near the Palais Royal, with the ambition of introducing a very French vision of Italian style. At Victoire Homme, the shirts are obviously blue or white, but also come in an infinite variety of colors and materials. The collars and shoulders are soft. The knotted scarf replaces the tie. The jackets are mismatched.

2000-20

Building on its success with menswear, the Victoire brand is also expanding into womenswear. Florence Rouanet-Riboud, the house's new artistic director, is setting the tone. " In the early 2000s, fashion was basic; we lived in jeans and boots. I felt the boutiques weren't feminine enough anymore, " says Florence. She follows her instincts, like Catherine and Françoise before her. She buys on impulse and reconnects with the fundamentals. Color, a mix of styles, exclusive designers, "good" taste that's sometimes daring but always chic. Mistigris, those pieces that stand out and make the boutiques very lively.

Today

Since 2020, some boutiques have closed, due to Covid. Camille Riboud (Gilles' daughter) has taken over. We opened the Cap Ferret… With Camille at the helm - even if Gilles is never far away - things are evolving "piano piano". " We always offer chic and joyful fashion in a free spirit," explains Camille. "Being yourself, finding your style, mixing colors and prints without preconceived ideas, having fun with fashion... That's Victoire! " After all this time, the passion and joy remain intact.

Welcome to Victoire, a beautiful story of women, family and transmission.
