I warn you, this winter, the velvet will not do it smoothly, and it will not do things by halves. Panne, corduroy, smooth or milleraie, vintage or printed, short or long, in all shapes and forms… Let’s better not get tired of it!
For men, velvet remains and will remain an all-time classic. It’s true, but at Victoire, we always chose it with colors, and we ban brown or camel that instantly reminds us our secondary school History teacher. You can also wear it flexible and as a shirt for a change. And, on top of all, we love printed velvet: checks, flowers, prince of Wales check, houndstooth… It is THE great trend of the moment.
I am sure you understood choosing velvet, yes… but underground style velvet!
For women as well, we would in no way take the easy way out. Velvets go off the beaten tracks, seen repeatedly. In lime, paon blue, begonia red, with patches and embroideries: the corduroy is not faint-hearted. And hold tight, this winter, we offer us panne velvet. Plain, with a leopard or a floral pattern, our panne silk velvets will pull out all the stops and blow you away!
