This week, when the team suggested me to write my newsletter about Valentine’s Day, I let you imagine how I reacted: first overwhelmed, then perplexed, and in the end, taken aback…
Me: “You ask me to suggest a list of gifts to celebrate the beloved, did I get that right?” Well yes, I got that right…
To tell the truth, I don’t recall celebrating Valentine’s Day once in my life… It’s not from conviction because I don’t really have a definite idea on the matter. But it is rather because we don’t need to set a date to love each other. Could you imagine the level of nonsense?
Anyhow, at least at Victoire, one thing is for sure, we put our heart and soul into it! I would even say that it is the essential ingredient of our recipe for 60 years. I recall a fake fur camel jacket with a huuuuge red heart on the back, from at least 10 years ago. Last year, the army jacket and its heart made of ribbons. And the marvellous Jacquard mesh jacket designed by Gio (I join you a picture below)…
…And the story continues with a beautiful give from my Valentine who joins the great Victoire family on February 14th… it is what we call having a good sense of timing!
