Everything started in 1913 in the Piedmont, Giuseppe Polli founded the Manufacture di Domodossola and started to produce cables, cordage, braided pieces and trimmings. After two world wars, the brand, then ran by Angelo and Gianfranco, Giuseppe’s sons, heads towards « light fabric » production: small braided pieces, trimmings and shoe laces. And from a lace to a belt, there is only one step… or two. After intense searching and massive investments, the company became the to mechanically produce braided belts 100% made in Italy, in 1970. Today, it is the third generation of Pollis who runs the business, and they are all women. Naturally, the passion and ambition stay the same. Always designing the most beautiful products 100% made in Italy from the most beautiful leathers keeping the innovative spirit, key of their success for more than one century.
