Le chapeau was born in Forli' in 1985 and was taken over by Patrizia in 1989: it is an artisan firm producing all types of manufactured hats and also wear accessories (stoles, scarves, handbags).
She has always been trying to privilege the union between «quality» and «idea»: high quality in materials and genuine artistic inspiration, both introduced in every creation; this is the choice that brought on success and people appreciation, in Italy as abroad.
The products with trade mark «Le Chapeau» are characterized and increased in value because of their wholeness manual labour process, using old wooden made forms that have had a very important rule in the hat’s history, because of their textiles manufacture, and, again, for the great variety of styles and models – from high fashion to prêt-à-porter articles, from classical to original lines – that are rich in details intended to change a theme and to put in it «that touch» making a difference and gaining a conquest.
Just in the name of this «philosophy» Patrizia Valmori , helped by her team work, has been maintaining alive the best of the handicraft «made in Italy» , not excluding what modernity and new trend require and not giving up to express her own «view» or «interpretation» of hat. Indeed, all these elements are well connected and integrated in a play of shapes, colours, cloths, and the results are pointing out a persevering search for beauty and harmonious mixture.
