PREPARE THE OLYMPICS!

FAITES VOS JEUX !
#5 LAST BUT NOT LEAST, RUE MADAME

All July, we are putting ourselves in Olympics mode by confiding our Parisian “secret spots” to you for each neighbourhood. We reveal our favourite addresses, the ones that resemble us. Chic, friendly and with no fuss…

For this last meet up, we stay in Saint-Germain-des-Prés…

Ladies, to go shopping, we meet at Victoire, 1 rue Madame, where Claire, Nada, Natalie & co welcome you all summer in our swimming club.

For the rest:

Café: La Palette
It is an institution in the neighbourhood. I often went there as a teenager and, with my friends, we ordered a coffee with 5 straws, nostalgia! It is THE typical Saint-Germain-des-Prés café, a pleasant and authentic place with ceramic frescos, a beautiful bar and moleskin banquettes, so chic!
43 rue de Seine, Paris 6.

Restaurant: Aloï
At Victoire, this is our Thaï canteen, on the premises or take away, these are simply the best spring rolls in Paris.
7 rue des Ciseaux, Paris 6.

Bookshop: Chantelivre
It is a children’s paradise. Their book selection is incredible and for all ages. The only hiccup is that you could stay there all day…
13 rue de Sèvres, Paris 6.

Jeweller’s: Isabelle Subra Woolworth
Lou took over her mother’s gallery 6 years ago. Then, it’s long family history, like us! She has a specialised selection of ancient and artists jewels and many other exceptional pieces to fall for…
51 rue de Seine, Paris 6.
And our Olympics stickers????
You can get them as a gift in our Parisian shops, and we also put them in the orders made on the eshop…

Have a nice weekend and long live the Olympics!
Camille
